Two Masonic opportunities to contribute to relief of victims of Hurricane Katrina are available.
One is the official Grand Lodge of Indiana appeal for the Association of Masonic Boards of Relief of the USA and Canada. You can read the Grand Master's letter on this subject here (requires Adobe PDF Reader). This appeal specifically benefits children who have been left homeless and empty-handed by the storm.
The other is an appeal by the Masonic Service Association of North America, the proceeds from which are to be distributed equally between the Grand Lodges of Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama for relief in their states. For more information, click here. (You will also find there another appeal for relief of victims of the two hurricanes that hit the Pensacola, Florida area earlier this year, should you be so inclined to donate further.)
