About this Site

Webmasters Nathan Brindle, P.M., and Chris Hodapp, P.M., have lovingly handcrafted most of this site by, er, hand, using Notepad and the unfortunately discontinued Programmer's File Editor. (Well, Hodapp uses Claris when he writes pages, and I clean up the ugly code it makes. But many pages here -- particularly the Past Masters section -- were written from scratch in a text editor.) Hodapp wrote most of the original content while I have written some of the newer stuff.

We use WebCalendar for the calendar function; Coppermine Photo Gallery for, well, the photo gallery; and Lazarus Guestbook for the guestbook. Movable Type (albeit an obsolete version) is used for the Trestle-Board. Everything else is currently maintained by hand, the same way I've (Brindle, that is) been writing web pages since 1994.

The contact page now uses ingenious JavaScript mailto: links generated by the Automatic Enkoderform.

We use MailMan for email lists, but under protest; since I (Brindle) work for L-Soft international, Inc., I'd much prefer to use LISTSERV®. Life is what life is.
